Position Overview
We are seeking experienced senior automotive technicians who can adeptly handle diagnostics and repairs. As part of our full-service facility, you will play a crucial role in fostering a successful work environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a senior automotive technician at Midas, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and computer systems to identify vehicle issues
  • Performing alignments and addressing heating and air conditioning systems
  • Managing steering, suspension, and brake repairs
  • Inspecting belts, hoses, and cooling systems
  • Diagnosing check engine light alerts and conducting exhaust services
  • Conducting visual safety inspections and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair automotive issues
  • Experience collaborating effectively within a team
  • ASE and relevant state-specific automotive repair certifications
  • In-depth knowledge of brakes, exhaust systems, suspension, and engine diagnostics
  • A strong track record of productivity and efficiency
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in repair settings
  • Experience with shop equipment, including lifts and diagnostic tools
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is advantageous
  • A valid driver's license and personal tools/equipment, including diagnostic scanners
  • The capability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles

Compensation
This position offers a flat rate pay structure.
