Job Overview

Position: Mail Processing Specialist | Shipping and Logistics Technician

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Starting pay is $19.50 per hour
  • 1st shift: Monday to Friday, approximately 9 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays and overtime may be required

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mail Logistics Technician, your daily tasks will include managing USPS documentation and accurately logging all necessary information. You will be responsible for sorting mail manually, maintaining precise records of incoming and outgoing items, conducting monthly inventory of USPS stamps, and liaising with the Finance Department.

  • Completing mailing documentation
  • Preparing and sorting mail, as well as managing drop shipments
  • Skid wrapping and loading trailers for USPS, FedEx, and UPS

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with USPS regulations is preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a mailroom or general office setting
  • Ability to learn quickly, retain information, and read a ruler accurately
