Job Title: Guest Service Specialist - Part Time

Job Summary:

The Guest Service Specialist provides exceptional customer service to various Museum audiences as a part of the Museum's reservations and information contact center team. This role functions as a member of the Museum's sales and guest service force, selling tickets and memberships and proactively making suggestions to guests to match their interests to Museum offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of phone calls and provide excellent customer service to guests.
  • Sell tickets and memberships to guests, meeting sales goals and targets.
  • Process email and web chat inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses to guests.
  • Participate in Museum initiatives to support the Museum's commitment to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and service goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 or more years of sales or customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills, including a clear and professional tone on the phone and in written responses.
  • Ability to match guest interests to Museum offerings and effectively up-sell additional offerings to meet sales goals.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Vaccination Policy:
