Job Summary

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll transactions for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring accurate payment and compliance with regulations. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in ADP Enterprise, eTime, and SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 2000+ employees, including off-cycle payrolls as needed.
  • Provide job aids and training for new employees or acquisitions on the eTIME system.
  • Validate and audit hours from the timekeeping system.
  • Collect and review employee hours and calculate wages for payment.
  • Provide job training and mentor team members as needed.
  • Assist in tax calculations and filing activities per IRS regulations.
  • Maintain detailed and organized payroll records for future references.
  • Validate reports generated from Pass-through (SAP/EV5) for accurate HR/Payroll data.
  • Analyze and resolve payroll-related problems or questions in a timely manner.
  • Review, answer, and process garnishments and liens.
  • Process manual checks daily.
Requirements
  • Typically requires 3 years of payroll-related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of ADP Enterprise, eTime, and SAP systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify errors, and prepare reports.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $25-$30 per hour, based on location and experience. The position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, up to 5% 401(K) match, and tuition reimbursement.
