About the Job

We are seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach state Registered Nurse Aide and Medication Aide classes in various settings, including didactic, laboratory, and clinical environments. As a Nurse Aide Program Instructor, you will be responsible for creating an effective learning environment that fosters the development of knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Teach State Registered Nurse Aide and Medication Aide classes in multiple settings
  • Proctor and evaluate the SRNA performance exam in the BCTC KNAT Testing Center
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess an unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky and an Associate Degree with at least one year of clinical experience in a long-term care setting. Methods of Instruction Certificate of Completion or willingness to complete training upon hire is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

The ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, multitask, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects efficiently and accurately is also essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $30,000-$40,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
