Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy classes. This is a temporary position with varying hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and online.

Job Description

The successful candidate will direct student learning and assess progress in achieving the program's requirements. The instructor must be knowledgeable in Clinical Procedures, Laboratory Techniques, Pharmacology, Dosage Calculations, Pathophysiology, Administrative Procedures, and Phlebotomy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an associate degree in a related health field or a Certificate Program with work experience AND be credentialed in good standing in medical assisting by an organization whose credentialing exam is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or under International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
  • Preferred qualifications include education in instructional methodology and being credentialed in good standing in medical assisting, having a medical or allied health education or training, and having experience related to the profession of medical assisting

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience. The position offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plan.
