Job Summary:

As a Certified Medication Aide at Lexington Country Place, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing leadership support and assistance with medication administration and other clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Care: Identify ongoing needs and services of residents through regular assessments and personalized service plans, ensuring proper follow-through and documentation for any changes in clinical care needs.
  • Medication Administration: Assist with medication administration, monitoring resident health and well-being, and communicating with resident support services and families as needed.
  • Leadership Support: Provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting a positive and respectful work environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain clinical quality assurance standards, leading by example and demonstrating a commitment to excellence in resident care.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Must be certified as a Medication Aide and/or meet state requirements for medication aide certification; a minimum of one year of experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is preferred.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and guide staff members.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferably.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, available to customers at peak service delivery days and times.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
