Position Overview:

We are in search of a full-time Senior Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) and Space systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in NC3/Space technologies and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.

Location: This role is based in a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite presence for part of the week. Applicants must hold a TS/SCI clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze data on security incidents to develop and implement effective safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with tactical radio systems such as AN/PRC-117G, AN/ARC-210, and AN/USC-61, including software updates and system testing.
  • Manage RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for various ground systems.
  • Evaluate system security requirements and verification techniques in accordance with RMF standards.
  • Experience with cloud technologies is essential.
  • Assist in security planning, assessments, risk evaluations, and management utilizing the Risk Management Framework.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of authorized systems to ensure compliance with security controls and policies.
  • Provide recommendations for system-level solutions to fulfill security mandates.
  • Support the design and implementation of secure connections among external systems and architectures.
  • Understand signal quality through comprehensive performance evaluations of circuits and systems.
  • Willingness to travel may be necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT, particularly in RMF and A&A package development, ideally in an ISSE capacity.
  • Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP rev 4, and experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer.
  • Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment and system acquisition processes.
  • Ability to develop schedules and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) to meet project timelines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Navy RF systems and capability to support RF projects until Authorization to Operate (ATO) approval.
  • Possession of DoD 8570 IAT Level II/CSWF Designation code 611 Advanced or certifications such as CASP, CISM, or CISA.
Security Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is mandatory.
