Position Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall administration of the home health agency, ensuring effective management of daily operations.

This role involves coordinating and executing designated projects to align with both immediate and long-term company goals; overseeing patient eligibility for home care services; strategizing the services offered to patients; and supervising comprehensive home health care delivery.

The CEO will implement and uphold administrative practices, agency philosophy, objectives, and policies to guarantee compliance with relevant state and federal regulations. Additionally, this position focuses on enhancing the agency's profitability and fostering a motivated, qualified workforce to ensure high-quality service delivery.

This role also serves as a key liaison among management staff and various departments within the organization.


Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the daily operations of the agency and supervise the staff.
  • Ensure that the Clinical and/or Executive Director is accessible during all operational hours or directly provide coverage for those responsibilities.
  • Be readily available on-site during business hours or reachable by phone when off-site for agency-related activities.
  • Oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care services throughout the care continuum.
  • Manage referral coordination, continuously assess patient needs, and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication with staff through meetings, case discussions, and mandatory training sessions.
  • Supervise patient care to ensure safe, economical, and efficient service delivery, adhering to established nursing and medical standards, as well as compliance with payer criteria and agency policies.
  • Oversee survey readiness activities and ensure that corrective action plans are developed, implemented, and monitored.
  • Evaluate agency staff performance regularly and ensure that only qualified personnel are recruited.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts to maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Lead the governing body of the agency, directing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain an infection control program aimed at preventing and managing infections and communicable diseases.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the medical director as necessary.
  • Drive operational metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals related to efficiency and growth.
