Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and working closely with our veterinarians to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Assist with medical procedures, such as phlebotomy, intravenous and urinary catheter placement, and administering medication.
- Work closely with our veterinarians to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Develop and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
- Communicate effectively with our team, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Expected to obtain NYS licensure within 3 months.
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
