Licensed Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Cornell University Hospital for Animals. As a key member of our ICU team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support our veterinarians and students in delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine and advanced technical skills, including venipuncture, urinary catheter placement, and central line catheter management.
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for a diverse range of cases.
- Teach and mentor our DVM students and house officers in complex treatment plans and technical skills.
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to provide 24/7 patient care.
- Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited institution and NYS licensure.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
- Interest in ongoing career growth and advanced skill development.
- Competitive hourly rate of $28.47.
