Job Summary

Cornell University is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician I to join our team at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including triage, stabilization, and treatment of large animals
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including bloodwork, ultrasound, and radiographs
  • Contribute to the education of veterinary students, interns, and residents
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
  • Participate in a team-based approach to patient care, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
  • Expected to obtain NYS licensure within 3 months
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination
  • Interest in ongoing career growth and advanced skill development
