Job Title: Community Based Mental Health Clinician Counselor QMHP

At EMS of Virginia, we are seeking a qualified and dedicated mental health professional to join our team as a Community Based Mental Health Clinician Counselor QMHP. As a QMHP, you will play a vital role in providing intensive in-home and mental health skill building services to individuals in the greater Richmond area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality mental health services to our clients. As a Community Based Mental Health Clinician Counselor QMHP, you will work closely with our team to provide individualized services plans, complete quarterly reports, and provide information for authorization of services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1-1 mental health counseling related to goals
  • Provide skill building to adults with serious mental illness
  • Take adult clients to appointments and link with resources in the community
  • Complete individualized services plans and quarterly reports
  • Provide information for authorization of services and meet regularly for supervision
  • Attend team meetings and participate in case management to ensure client's basic needs are met

Requirements:

We are seeking a QMHP with experience working with children and/or adults. If you are licensed or licensed-eligible as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), we encourage you to apply.
