Employee Relations Support Coordinator

Job Responsibilities
The primary role is to deliver comprehensive Human Resource program assistance to personnel concerning timekeeping, employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and various other Human Resources functions as necessary. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the Short Term Disability program, ensuring compliance with Family Leave Medical Act (FMLA) and Parental Leave regulations. Additionally, the role involves assisting with all aspects of semi-monthly payroll processing, generating DOC-3 forms, and entering transactions into relevant systems.
Key Qualifications
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. A solid understanding of office practices, procedures, and equipment is essential. Proficiency in various manual and automated filing systems, as well as a strong command of Standard English grammar, punctuation, and usage, is required. Applicants should demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access, to fulfill office support duties effectively. The ability to interpret and adhere to oral and written guidelines, maintain positive working relationships, and adapt to new practices and technologies is crucial. Candidates should also exhibit strong organizational skills to manage and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
Additional Considerations
Experience in providing customer service and administrative support within a professional office environment is preferred. Familiarity with office equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, and fax machines, is necessary. A background in record keeping and experience with CORIS are advantageous. Previous exposure to Human Resources in correctional or alternative settings is a plus.
