Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer PRN to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality images and exams on patients, maintaining a safe and respectful environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality images and exams on patients, adhering to safety protocols and standards of practice.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care, addressing patient needs and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • ARDMS registered (RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR)) or ARRT registered (R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD) within 1 year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required.
  • Physical Requirements: Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly.
