Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, adhering to established protocols and standards, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and perform a variety of examinations, including abdominal, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies.
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient information and examination results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Minimum two years of experience in ultrasound technology.
  • ARMDS certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid, unrestricted license in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S.
