Job Summary

Astro Aluminum Treating Co is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift and unload customers
  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Scan, count, weigh and inspect all hardware received in accordance with SOP
  • Mark and identify tags for received inventory
  • Adhere to all requirements stated in Astro safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of two years forklift experience
  • Previous experience with industrial manufacturing or general labor is preferred
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English (Spanish, a plus)
Benefits
  • Starting wages are $18.00/hr to $22.00/hr (day shift) depending on experience
  • Shift differential for swing shift ($3.00/hr) and graveyard shift ($4.50/hr)
