Job Description

At Precision Castparts Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to manufacturing operations, ensuring uptime for equipment, layout, tools, fixtures, and machines to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate required training programs for employees
  • Utilize the Timekeeping System to maintain accurate records of hours worked
  • Ensure work cell equipment and resources are managed to meet daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly Throughput, Shipping, and Productivity Targets
  • Review Priority Dispatch Report to prioritize and complete past due work orders
  • Prepare and communicate daily results and challenges at the daily Line Walk
  • Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel
  • Communicate with Area/Operations Manager to provide data and resolve operational issues
  • Identify, research, and coordinate plans to resolve internal quality issues
  • Maintain Quality by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or mechanical engineering desired; 4+ years of supervisory experience in aerospace manufacturing in lieu of a degree is acceptable
  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in leading and developing a team of 20+ individuals
  • 2+ years of scheduling/planning experience. Aerospace Industry preferred
  • Prior experience in forge industry a plus. Leadership in overseeing teams in grinding, heat treating, machining, or inspection is desired
