About the Role

Team1Medical is seeking a skilled Medical Lab Tech to fill a temporary position in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in laboratory testing to work with a trusted non-profit organization.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing testing, preparing reagents, and documenting quality control and preventive maintenance
  • Updating results from workstation computer to Laboratory Information system; entering and verifying manual results and quarantining units as required
  • Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities within the department
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • MLT (ASCP) with 3 plus years clinical laboratory testing experience; OR
  • MLS (ASCP) with Bachelor's Degree with a science (Biology or Chemistry) major which meets the CLIA amendment for science hours required to perform moderate and high complexity testing with laboratory experience
