About the Role

HFI-Assure Fertility Partners of Houston is seeking a Lab Technician to support our laboratory team in the Piney Point location. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, working closely with technical staff, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality results.

To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines. Experience with EMR systems, specimen handling, and quality control is highly desirable. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures
  • Assist with scheduling patients for andrology procedures and tissue transport
  • Maintain logs and clinical data, enter specific clinical data into EMR systems
  • Ship and receive specimens, maintain Quality Control records
Essential Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Biology, Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Applied Science preferred
  • Two Years of Related Clerical/Administrative Job Experience strongly preferred
  • One Year of Experience in a Laboratory Setting required
Compensation and Benefits
  • $55,000 - $65,000 per year salary range based on experience
