Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the waiting area - welcome clients, engage with visitors, and address client concerns
  • Prepare invoices and estimates for services rendered
  • Process payments and generate receipts
  • Capture digital images of patients for social media use
  • Maintain office supplies, including printers, paper, and toner
  • Manage appointment requests through Demandforce
  • Coordinate text reminders via InTouch Mobile
  • Monitor social media interactions
  • Take phone messages and manage prescription/food order inquiries
  • Input new clients and patients into the database and update medical records
  • Explain CareCredit options and assist clients through the application process
  • Understand accounts payable and monthly financial statements
  • Conduct end-of-day financial reconciliations
  • Call in prescriptions to pharmacies as needed
  • Complete medical records entries for assigned patients
  • Assist in stocking and maintaining exam, treatment, surgery, and radiology rooms
  • Help monitor inventory levels and report supply needs
  • Assist in ordering food, supplies, and medications as required
  • Support the upkeep of the facility, both inside and outside
Essential Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Preferred experience of at least one year
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic math and writing proficiency
  • Understanding of veterinary services and a love for animals
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology
  • Knowledge of vaccinations, common diseases, and pet behavior
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Infinity and Office programs
