Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years in commercial roofing estimation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in estimation software, with strong organizational and job tracking skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional precision and attention to detail in cost estimation.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing initiatives as a Commercial Roofing Estimator.
  • Evaluate project plans, specifications, and related documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Engage with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather essential information for bids.
  • Maintain and refresh cost databases and estimation software.
  • Present and clarify estimates to clients and project managers.
  • Oversee project progress to ensure estimates align with budgetary constraints.
