Position Title: IT Project Manager/Insurance Business Process (Remote)

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide essential project support under the guidance of a project manager, focusing on the continuous assessment, evaluation, and enhancement of business processes to align with organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver project management support to ensure effective implementation, enhancing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer service.
  2. Collaborate with business leaders to identify project needs and assist in planning initiatives.
  3. Conduct analysis and provide decision-making support to drive key business objectives, gathering insights from various disciplines.
  4. Define process performance metrics, assess data availability, and develop tools for tracking performance.
  5. Create comprehensive project documentation, including status updates, plans, presentations, and meeting notes.
  6. Assist the project manager in resource allocation, schedule maintenance, and administrative tasks.
  7. Act as a business project manager for projects with limited external stakeholder engagement.
  8. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Structure: Typically reports to Managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and understanding of company products and objectives.
  2. Strong analytical, organizational, and planning capabilities.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  4. Expertise in business process modeling and analysis.
  5. Ability to facilitate meetings of moderate complexity.
  6. Solid understanding of project management principles.
  7. Familiarity with change management methodologies.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in project management within insurance business process design is typically required.
