Job Title: Head of Business Development

We are seeking a highly talented and driven individual to join our team as the Head of Business Development. In this role, you will be responsible for refining our go-to-market strategy and leading commercial partnership development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Refine the go-to-market strategy based on internal business intelligence and external customer engagement
  • Contribute to business model definition and implementation in collaboration with the finance & operation teams
  • Leverage your network to develop new commercial partnerships and negotiate agreements with key chemical offtakers and consumer brands
  • Work hand-in-hand with legal counsel and the finance team to engineer creative commercial agreements that support project finance strategy
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and funding agencies, to ensure projects meet industry standards, customer expectations, and profitability targets
Requirements:
  • Second-to-none problem-solving and logical reasoning ability
  • World-class network in the chemical industry and/or consumer product industry
  • 15+ years of experience in the origination, development, and realization of commercial partnerships for the deployment of first-of-a-kind technologies
  • Expertise in collaboratively drafting legal agreements with legal counsel, including offtake agreements, joint development agreements, etc.
