Role Summary

The Facilities Maintenance and Client Support Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep of all HCBTS properties while also providing essential support to our clients. This position requires maintaining a professional rapport that aligns with the organization's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute assigned tasks to ensure that the property and care environment are clean, sanitary, safe, secure, and free from obstructions. Complete cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks promptly as scheduled and as needed. Replenish supplies as necessary.
  • Assist in welcoming new clients and orienting them to the facility, including schedules, expectations, and program guidelines. Conduct inventory checks of client belongings upon admission and as required.
  • Carry out operational duties to support and enforce compliance with treatment program rules, code of conduct, good neighbor policy, and maintain a drug-free environment.
  • Provide support to encourage client participation and engagement in their treatment process.
  • Monitor client self-administration of medication and conduct urine drug screenings and breath alcohol tests in accordance with company policies, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
  • Observe client engagement levels, adherence to treatment program rules, and identify any potential issues or concerns. Report observations and client-related issues to your Supervisor/Manager and the Clinical Team as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with all operational staff and site managers regarding daily operations and client care. Complete shift reports before the end of your shift to inform incoming staff of any potential issues or concerns.
  • Perform maintenance tasks at HCBTS facilities as requested and assigned, ensuring timely, safe, and professional execution.
  • Maintain the tools, supplies, and inventory used for maintenance tasks.
  • Transport clients in company vehicles when necessary and appropriate.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the HCBTS Employee Handbook. Participate in and complete all required training. Comply with company policy, HIPAA, and other relevant laws and regulations to safeguard the confidentiality and security of protected health information.
  • Fulfill additional operational duties as required or requested by your Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 4 years.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with the principles of 12-step recovery is preferred.
