Role Overview:
The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance personnel. You will implement and direct maintenance programs for facilities and machinery in a systematic, efficient, and professional manner while maintaining accurate records of departmental activities and budgets.

Your role will also involve ensuring the safe and effective operation of machinery, as well as directing major equipment repairs and overhauls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient performance of all maintenance functions
- Supervise routine and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule
- Plan and coordinate equipment repairs and overhauls
- Effectively manage the maintenance team, ensuring high performance
- Recruit, train, and oversee maintenance staff
- Provide leadership and motivation through effective delegation and communication
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of departmental activities and budgets
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies
- Keep management informed of departmental activities and significant issues
- Foster effective working relationships with team members and other departments
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to maintenance staff
- Ensure safe and clean maintenance operations in accordance with OSHA regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field is required
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in managing maintenance teams
- Alternatively, a High School diploma with 10+ years of leadership experience will be considered
- Strong understanding of plant production systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and automation systems
- Knowledge of industry maintenance standards for food-grade manufacturing
- Familiarity with SAP preventive maintenance systems
- Understanding of good manufacturing practices and food safety regulations
