JOB OVERVIEW

The primary role of the Banner Production Specialist is to support the Banner department's customer requests by reviewing production tickets, managing the workflow to ensure timely completion of all orders, and consistently fulfilling customer expectations while optimizing machine performance. Minimal industrial sewing tasks are included. The Banner Production Specialist plays a vital role in the overall success of the Production department at Outreach, Inc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Finishing, cutting, and taping banners and signage
  • Perform industrial sewing as required
  • Monitor inventory levels
  • Assemble display stands and setups
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow directives from Banner Technicians and Production Supervisors
  • Utilize the Grommet Press and Seaming Press
  • Prepare banners for prompt delivery to Shipping
  • Accurately log banner data on documentation
  • Adhere to production schedules
  • Maintain product accuracy and integrity

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant work experience
  • 0-1 year of preferred industrial sewing experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times during a shift.
  • Manual dexterity is essential for job functions.
  • Steady hand required for cutting banners and tape.
  • Good vision necessary for basic color output

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Utilization of mechanical equipment and tools constitutes over 50% of daily tasks.
  • Exposure to machinery noise in an open manufacturing setting for more than 50% of the workday.
  • Moderate stress levels, exceeding 50% of the workweek.
  • Interaction with others is moderate (25% - 35% of the workday).
  • Indoor environment with controlled temperature (air-conditioned).
