Senior Consultant, Radiopharmaceutical Sales Specialist
**This position requires significant travel and must be based near a major airport**
The Radiopharmaceutical Sales Specialist is tasked with identifying opportunities, promoting, expanding, and sustaining product usage among targeted healthcare professionals and administrators. The individual will be instrumental in driving revenue and profitability of our unique technology to both new and existing clients. This is achieved through effective product and service differentiation. The Specialist will collaborate closely with sales representatives, distribution partners, and directors within their designated regions. The individual will be expected to acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of job responsibilities, the products they advocate, and the relevant medical conditions they address. The Specialist may participate in various professional settings such as customer sales meetings, medical conferences, distributor gatherings, and internal corporate events. They will represent the organization professionally at all times and adhere to all legal and regulatory standards.
**The designated territory includes multiple states across the western United States.*
Key Responsibilities
Execute sales strategies at both the account and territory levels. Cultivate productive, professional relationships within institutions with all key prospective product users and purchasing decision-makers. Understand and comply with all institutional policies related to access and the introduction, education, evaluation, and usage of new pharmaceutical products. Take full responsibility for achieving defined product sales targets. Own the territory business development strategy, which includes engaging with physician specialties, hospitals/imaging centers, nuclear medicine departments, and authorized suppliers. Conduct all activities within the established expense budget, unless directed otherwise. Maintain regular communication with the Director regarding progress, achievements, needs, and significant observations related to the product, competitive landscape, and market trends. Ensure the use of only approved and current sales materials and messaging. Manage productive relationships and activities with sales teams, distribution partners, and internal stakeholders. Be well-versed in and adhere to all pharmacovigilance policies and procedures, ensuring prompt reporting of any product adverse events through the appropriate channels. Acquire, pass all assessments, and maintain a standard level of knowledge related to assigned job responsibilities, including product and medical condition expertise. Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders. Proactively identify key issues and provide efficient responses to business development opportunities. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, business, health science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales within a highly regulated environment. Previous sales experience targeting physicians, clinical end-users, materials management, and C-suite executives is preferred. Strong preference for experience in selling and leading teams in clinical, diagnostic, imaging, or laboratory products and/or services. Prior experience in Nuclear Medicine and Oncology is advantageous. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster productive long-term relationships at all organizational levels, including senior executives. Strong planning, forecasting, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are essential. Valid driver's license is required. Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.About Cardinal Health
