The Opportunity
Veeva is in search of an Automation Engineer who is enthusiastic about quality assurance and automation. You will be tasked with creating, maintaining, and enhancing automation frameworks and infrastructure. Additionally, you will develop innovative tools to enhance our testing efficiency, troubleshoot failures, and facilitate effective communication of results. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on test automation outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, creativity, motivation, and a results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, maintaining, and refining automation frameworks and infrastructure.
  • Creating innovative tools to improve testing efficiency, troubleshoot failures, and generate comprehensive reports for results communication.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on test automation outcomes.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the software industry, with a strong focus on quality processes.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Solid experience with Java, object-oriented programming, Selenium, and TestNG.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in testing and automating APIs and user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Applications, or a related field.
  • Preference for candidates located in California.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $75,000 - $150,000
  • The salary range provided complies with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and location. We evaluate compensation for each individual and base our offer on unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation types beyond base salary, such as variable bonuses and/or stock options.
