Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in both black box and automation testing to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role focuses on delivering high-quality SaaS applications within the Commercial domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in an agile, small team environment prioritizing speed and quality.
  • Develop testing documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports to assess quality and associated risks.
  • Guide junior QA Engineers in best practices and methodologies.
  • Partner with the automation team to enhance feature automation for improved regression coverage.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the product.
  • Conduct QA tests and validate outcomes within established timelines.
  • Engage with software engineers, product managers, and fellow QA testers in an Agile team setting.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant experience as a functional QA Engineer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, particularly in environments with rapid release cycles.
  • Proficient in writing comprehensive test cases, including boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with testing Windows desktop applications (e.g., Delphi or C#).
  • Experience with JIRA and TestRails.
  • Knowledge of testing desktop-to-web integration applications.
  • Experience with desktop GIS applications.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail.
  • Background in a SaaS environment with an agile development process.
  • User-level knowledge of MS Access or MS SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with TestComplete for test automation (Delphi or C#).
  • Experience with InstallAware or Wise for creating installation packages for desktop applications.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Delphi (or C#), and REST JSON.
  • Basic understanding of GIT.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, GMail, and Mattermost.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $70,000 - $150,000
  • This salary range is provided to comply with local regulations and reflects potential compensation for this role. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and location. Compensation is tailored to each individual based on qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation types, such as bonuses.
