Position Summary:
The Senior Structural Engineer will play a pivotal role in providing engineering solutions and technical expertise in a high-stakes environment. This position requires a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments and generate detailed sketches to support conceptual design development.
- Prepare and verify structural calculations, utilizing both manual methods and software tools.
- Develop innovative and practical solutions that adhere to industry standards and processes.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and support to project teams.
- Collaborate with technical teams to establish project specifications and evaluate vendor proposals.
- Provide technical direction on complex projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Support field operations by assessing conditions and providing technical insights.
- Lead project teams, coordinating efforts across disciplines and mentoring junior staff.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with established policies and regulations.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program is required, with a focus on Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
- A Professional Engineer license or NCARB certification is essential for architects.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, showcasing advanced technical skills and cross-disciplinary knowledge.
- Proficiency in interpreting applicable codes and standards is required.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and CAD applications is essential.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.

Work Environment:
The primary work location will be in a secure facility, with a standard schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday.
