Job Summary

Carrie Rikon & Associates, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Branch Manager to lead our Andover, MA location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Branch, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily Branch operations to ensure customer satisfaction and projected bottom line profit.
  2. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers through effective communication and problem-solving.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and inventory management.
  4. Review financial and operational reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  5. Direct and supervise department managers to ensure timely and accurate management of warehouse operations.
  6. Define and communicate service standards and operational mission to employees.
  7. Maximize sales opportunities through effective customer service and workforce management.
  8. Manage employee relations, including selection, performance appraisals, and professional development.
  9. Maintain open communication with Corporate Offices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Review inventory levels to ensure accuracy and in-house availability.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).
  2. Minimum 4 years of management experience in food service or grocery distribution.
  3. Background in P&L, inventory control, merchandising, hiring/training staff, and cash control.
  4. Strong leadership skills and ability to run a high-volume warehouse operation.
  5. Excellent communication, organizational, and people management skills.
  6. Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.
  7. Background in big box, food service, or food retail.

Work Environment:

  1. The work environment is moderate, with areas that are cold and hot.
  2. The work is mostly performed standing/walking, with occasional physical labor.
  3. Industrial vehicles may be present in the warehouse.
