As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our supply chain, particularly in the context of our mobile data centers that utilize stranded energy resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure the prompt delivery of essential orders, addressing any delays or issues proactively.
  • Create and disseminate comprehensive reports that summarize order statuses using advanced data visualization techniques.
  • Engage with suppliers and collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality and service challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to contract stipulations, insurance requirements, and supplier standards.
  • Identify and evaluate new supply sources as necessary.
  • Work with stakeholders to guarantee accurate and timely supplier performance assessments.
  • Develop and maintain supplier catalogs within Crusoe's ERP system.
  • Assist in managing inventory and assets effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members, stepping in as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Strategic Sourcing Manager or designated personnel.

  • Attention to detail in tracking shipments and generating reports.

Technical:

  • Proficiency in creating detailed and understandable reports.
  • Ability to utilize data visualization tools to present complex information clearly.
  • Competence in designing and implementing tracking systems.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with logistics teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Skills to foster strong relationships with suppliers.

Adaptability:

  • Flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and handle unforeseen challenges.
  • Willingness to regularly review and enhance tracking tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, such as procurement coordinator, buyer, or project manager. Experience in data centers, cloud services, energy, or construction is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with power generation and data center equipment.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Possession of relevant industry certifications is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is between $75,000 and $95,000, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
