Position Summary:

We are in search of a proficient Procurement Analyst to enhance our purchasing operations. The successful candidate will excel in developing, refining, and overseeing procurement processes, nurturing relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, and crafting strategies that reduce costs while ensuring quality and efficiency. This position demands a strategic mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish ethical and sustainable procurement practices that align with Crusoe's strategic objectives, including the creation of training materials and ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather quotes from service providers and material suppliers, and prepare comprehensive bid summaries.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers, conduct background checks, manage contractor compliance, and negotiate credit terms.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on critical developments in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage item and price catalogs within Crusoe's ERP system.
  • Assist with inventory management, logistics, and other internal functions.
  • Resolve discrepancies in invoices and supplier billing issues.
  • Conduct supplier audits.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on best procurement practices.
  • Oversee the Open Purchase Order Report.
  • Manage the procurement request process, ensuring accuracy in orders and compliance with terms and pricing structures.
  • Support the implementation of additional modules for the ERP system.
  • Maintain an approved supplier list to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Implement supplier evaluation programs to strengthen partnerships and monitor performance.
  • Expedite significant equipment and component purchases.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks effectively.
  • Experience in procurement, logistics, and leadership.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Google Suite and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for professional interactions at all levels.
  • Knowledge of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Extensive experience with vendor onboarding and compliance.
  • Strong supplier relationship management skills.
  • Experience in identifying improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Proficient in managing complex purchase orders.
  • Administrative support skills, including contract management.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Coupa as an ERP system.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in supply chain management, particularly in procurement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
