Job Overview

Prime Data Centers, a prominent firm managing a substantial portfolio in technology and real estate, is dedicated to the development, acquisition, and operation of data centers for leading global enterprises.

Our collaborative approach focuses on co-developing capital expenditure and real estate strategies with clients to enhance their operational interests in the digital landscape and improve overall valuation.

Position Summary:

The Procurement Manager collaborates closely with the Construction, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment for various data centers across the US and Europe. By proactively identifying opportunities, the Procurement Manager is essential in supplier management and procurement performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contract negotiations and change orders for construction services, ensuring compliance with pricing, contractual obligations, and capacity requirements.
  • Identify and engage reliable contractors, negotiating favorable commercial terms and pricing.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Prime and contractors.
  • Manage contracts, including renewals, documentation, and risk assessment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Foster long-term relationships with contractors and manage their performance.
  • Conduct meetings with contractors as needed to review performance metrics.
  • Facilitate contractor requests for proposals (RFPs) to support Prime's objectives efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Construction, Finance, Solutions Engineering, and Legal teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement.
  • Experience in construction services, contract management, change management, and negotiation is preferred.
  • CPSM certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to translate high-level strategic goals into actionable tasks.
