Position Overview:

The Enterprise Applications Specialist operates independently, effectively managing multiple projects of varying complexity. This role encompasses responsibilities such as analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing application support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. As a mentor, you will provide technical guidance and expertise while fostering outstanding customer service and maintaining respectful relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and maintain applications/systems as necessary, providing on-call support and resolving complex production issues.
  • Configure applications in collaboration with business and vendor partners.
  • Coordinate with teams and vendors for integration support.
  • Conduct testing for configuration and workflow changes, developing test scripts and documenting outcomes.
  • Enhance application integration and performance through scripting.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve application-related issues.
  • Gather requirements and develop customizations for a suite of applications.
  • Participate in assessments, implementations, and upgrades of third-party applications.
  • Analyze operational needs and system capabilities to propose effective solutions.
  • Document business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage with business owners and vendors on new features and product strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with change control processes and participate in audits.
  • Support project management in the implementation of new applications.
  • Provide training and documentation for supported solutions.
  • Support Go-Live initiatives, which may involve travel.
  • Communicate application issues with vendors and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Identify data integrity issues and analyze processes for improvement.
  • Collaborate with technology leaders and vendors on connected devices.
  • Manage the support model for applications and oversee the retirement of outdated systems.
  • Partner with security services to ensure appropriate access and security measures.
  • Engage in data security initiatives and coordinate with analytics on business intelligence projects.
  • Lead projects with minimal supervision, ensuring successful execution and adherence to deadlines.
  • Act as a super user, providing training and mentorship to new team members.
