Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the schedule for nursing personnel.
  • Prepare daily staffing reports.
  • Coordinate with staff to fulfill daily staffing needs.
  • Ensure coverage for vacant shifts, open roles, and scheduled time off as directed by the Nursing Director.
  • Compile and submit daily nursing hours reports to the Executive Director.
  • Monitor daily nursing hours to comply with PPD standards and maintain accurate logs.
  • Engage with admissions daily to track patient census and admission/discharge updates.
  • Review daily attendance reports for accuracy, correct discrepancies, and identify patterns.
  • Implement innovative healthcare solutions to enhance systems and processes for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred but not mandatory. At least one year of experience in a similar role within long-term care or healthcare settings is advantageous.
  • The ideal candidate will be qualified, empathetic, and committed to excellence in their work.
