In this position, you will take charge of the design, execution, and validation of Power Integrity strategies for System on Chips (SoCs) utilized in Apple devices.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will involve establishing droop targets, crafting and executing a power supply network solution, and assessing the power supply quality through laboratory measurements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Model, simulate, and characterize power delivery for die, package, board, and Voltage Regulators.

  • Engage in on-die, package, and board power delivery for current and future technology generations.
  • Define the power architecture and design solution space tailored to the target system.
  • Offer implementation guidelines and constructive feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design verification, and final approvals.
  • Execute model-to-hardware correlation at both component and product/system levels.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and analyzing power supply solutions for products.
- Familiarity with PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation.
- Comprehensive understanding of power supply architecture, including voltage regulator technologies, PCB and package design trends, and low-power design methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Voltage Regulator design principles and their electrical performance in system environments.
- Proficient in 3D/2D EM simulation tools, as well as electromagnetic and transmission line theory.
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as VNA, real-time oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multifunctional team.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, the base salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth and advancement as you develop in your role. The base salary range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600, with actual pay dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Additionally, employees may be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
