As a Power Integrity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, execution, and validation of Power Integrity solutions for System on Chips (SoCs) utilized in Apple devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on power delivery systems for current and upcoming generations.
  • Establish the power architecture and explore design solutions for the target system.
  • Provide implementation guidance and constructive feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design verification, and final sign-off processes.
  • Perform model-to-hardware correlation at both component and product/system levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and analyzing power supply solutions for products.
  • Expertise in Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) methodology development, including Power Delivery Network (PDN) modeling and lab validation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of power supply architectures, including voltage regulator technologies and PCB/package design trends.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB technologies, including socket integration and electrical performance in system environments.
  • Familiarity with 3D/2D electromagnetic simulation tools and transmission line theory.
  • Proficient in using lab equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), real-time oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a multi-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, the base salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. The salary range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs, including restricted stock unit awards and discounted stock purchases through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
