We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Power Integrity Engineer to contribute to our efforts. In this role, you will be tasked with the creation, execution, and validation of Power Integrity strategies for System on Chips (SoCs) utilized in Apple devices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you establish droop targets, design and implement power supply network solutions, and assess the quality of power supplies through laboratory measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in on-die, package, and board power delivery for current and future generations.
  • Define the power architecture and design solution space for the target system.
  • Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design verification, and sign-off processes.
  • Perform model-to-hardware correlation at both component and product/system levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and analyzing power supply solutions for products.
  • Expertise in Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) methodology development, including Power Delivery Network (PDN) modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation.
  • In-depth understanding of power supply architectures, including voltage regulator technologies, PCB and package design trends, and low-power design methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB technologies, including socket integration and electrical performance in system environments.
  • Familiarity with 3D/2D electromagnetic simulation tools, as well as electromagnetic and transmission line theory.
  • Proficient with laboratory equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), real-time oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multi-functional team.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a range that allows for growth and development in your role. The base pay range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs, including restricted stock unit awards and discounted stock purchases through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
