Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team at Covenant Living. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the orientation of new LPNs and nursing assistants, reinforcing training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
- Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso-gastric tubes, and other treatments.
- Communicate with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions, and problem areas.
- Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions, and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
- Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure proper information about residents is communicated.
- Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
- Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
- One year nursing experience.
- Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
- Competitive pay range: $42.00 - $55.25.
