Job Title: Registered Nurse

At CodeForce, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Covenant Living at the Shores, a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility located on the shores of Lake Washington in Mercer Island.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an approved school of nursing, a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State, and at least one year of nursing experience.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing routine daily direction and monitoring the work of the LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit, ensuring a high standard of nursing care and satisfactory completion of tasks.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the orientation of new nursing personnel, reinforcing training standards to maintain a high quality of care, and motivating LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing routine daily direction and monitoring the work of the LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit.
  • Assisting in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforcing training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
  • Assisting in motivating LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
  • Providing explanation of nursing procedures and assistance to staff to assure ongoing understanding and training.
  • Communicating on a regular basis with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and suggestions of problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, conditions, etc.
  • Observing and evaluating residents' health, mental and emotional conditions and communicating significant changes to appropriate staff. When indicated, is responsible for notifying the physician and family members according to prescribed procedures.
