We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Covenant Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the orientation of new staff members and reinforce training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
- Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso-gastric tubes, and other treatments.
- Communicate with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions, and concerns.
- Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure proper information about residents is communicated.
- Assist in the admission, orientation, and observation of new residents, ensuring that physician orders for diets, therapy, medication, etc. are transcribed and communicated according to procedure.
- Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
- Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
- One year nursing experience.
- Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
