Job Title: Channel Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Channel Development Manager to join our team at Nitel. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving growth and success in our channel sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to minimize partner wait times and drive incremental transactional revenue.
  • Collaborate with Channel Sales RVPs and Regional Channel Directors to establish go-to-market strategies, sales, and growth goals with transactional partners.
  • Cultivate new agent engagement from a predefined list of prospective transactional agents.
  • Coach and educate sales agents on Nitel products, processes, and procedures to improve their productivity and results.
  • Manage transactional quoting for our partners and maintain ongoing communications with transactional partners.
  • Identify and manage partner requests for quotes while working with partners to drive business to closure.
  • Coordinate proper handoffs for larger, more strategic deals that warrant more than transactional input.
  • Attend sales calls with end users to qualify and present Nitel solutions.
  • Interface with multiple departments to ensure delivery of services and ongoing sales agent and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of sales experience in telecom or high-tech industry with strong technical capability/computer savviness.
  • Minimum 2 years' channel, sales, marketing, and business development experience.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM platform Salesforce.com.
  • Creative and strategic thinking with good business sense.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Crack presentation skills and training experience is a plus.
