Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aviation Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Miami, FL. Our organization prides itself on exceeding customer expectations and fostering long-term relationships with our clients. The Aviation Maintenance Specialist will report directly to their supervisor and is accountable for executing all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct line maintenance (both scheduled and on-call) on a variety of aircraft.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and airworthiness assessments, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely.
- Inspect, service, and maintain aircraft, engines, and related components, meeting performance goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble components to ensure optimal functionality based on approved technical data.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper documentation for all work performed on departing aircraft.
- Execute line maintenance tasks and collaborate with the maintenance control center as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in line maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and turn checks in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with working around moving mechanical parts and exposure to various environmental conditions.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Ability to pass security background checks and travel as required.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with A320, A330, A380, B767, and B747 aircraft types.
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Training in EASA B1 standards is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for customer interactions and collaboration with flight crews.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
