Position Overview

The role of the Aviation Product Specialist demands a comprehensive knowledge of the aviation sector, particularly in areas akin to Technical Records, Engineering, Maintenance, and Software Implementation. This position is pivotal in enhancing the training and management of our innovative products.

The Product Specialist is tasked with mastering our offerings, aiding in the creation of documentation, facilitating training sessions, troubleshooting technical and software issues, and ensuring superior customer support. At Trax USA Corp, collaboration is key, as Product Specialists engage closely with team members and clients to address challenges effectively.

Regular communication and collaboration with our Programming teams, Quality Assurance, Technical Writing, and IT departments are essential. The position requires strong communication and technical abilities to serve as a bridge between our Programming Department and airline clientele.

Domestic and international travel may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact between airline clients and the programming team by managing inquiries and correspondence.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve technical and software-related issues.
  • Monitor and track customer concerns to ensure prompt responses and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the Development Department to document client specifications.
  • Test modifications to software programs and report any technical issues.
  • Work with the Technical Writing Department to create documentation for new software features.
  • Conduct customer training sessions, either on-site or at Trax facilities.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training assignments is essential.
  • Provide on-call support for customer emergencies.
  • Experienced team members may lead customer implementation projects.

Qualifications

Educational Background

A Bachelor’s degree in aviation or a related discipline, or a minimum of one year of experience in the aviation industry focusing on Technical Records, Engineering, Maintenance, or Software Implementations is required. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (both domestically and internationally) and possess a valid passport.
  • Prior experience in the aviation sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in technology and computer skills is necessary.
  • Ability to travel for both short-term and long-term assignments.
  • Exhibit a friendly and supportive demeanor when assisting airline clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial.

Desirable Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills are advantageous:

  • Experience with other aviation software solutions.
  • Multilingual abilities.
