Key Responsibilities:

Cargo Security Specialists are trained for various roles, including but not limited to:
  • Access Control: Ensure that only authorized individuals enter the premises and manage visitor logs.
  • Fixed Security Posts:
    • Verify that only authorized personnel access the facility.
    • Conduct thorough physical inspections of property.
    • Ensure adherence to escort protocols.
    • Maintain visual security throughout designated areas.
    • Oversee access control at dock entrances.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

This role necessitates obtaining Airport Badging, which involves a comprehensive background check mandated by the Department of Homeland Security, including a 10-year verifiable history covering criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references. Candidates must also successfully complete a Security Threat Assessment as required by the Transportation Security Administration.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid State Security License is required.
  • Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States must be provided upon hire.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must successfully complete all initial and ongoing training and assessments as directed by Global Security and Airport Authority.
  • Access to reliable transportation is essential.
