Position Overview

The Specialist is tasked with mastering our products, aiding in the creation of documentation, facilitating training sessions, troubleshooting technical and software issues, and providing exceptional customer support. At Trax USA Corp, we foster a collaborative atmosphere where Product Specialists closely engage with team members and clients to address challenges.

This role involves frequent communication and collaboration with our Programming teams, Quality Assurance, Technical Writing, and IT departments. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and technical skills to serve as a bridge between our Programming Department and airline clientele.

Travel Requirements: Occasional domestic and international travel may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a communication link between airline clients and the programming team, managing inquiries and correspondence.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve technical and software-related issues.
  • Monitor and track customer concerns to ensure prompt responses and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the Development Department to document customer requirements.
  • Test modifications to software programs and report any technical issues.
  • Work with the Technical Writing Department to create documentation for new software features.
  • Conduct customer training sessions, either on-site or at Trax locations.
  • Availability for on-call service during customer emergencies.
  • Experienced team members may lead customer implementation projects.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in aviation or a related discipline, or a minimum of one year of experience in the aviation industry, particularly in areas such as Technical Records, Engineering, Maintenance, or Software Implementations. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (both domestically and internationally) and possess a valid passport.
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in technology and computer skills is essential.
  • Ability to travel for both short-term and long-term assignments.
  • Exhibit a friendly and supportive demeanor when assisting airline customers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with other aviation software is advantageous. Multilingual abilities are a plus.
