Your Role:
As a Culinary Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, guiding and mentoring our culinary team. Your hands-on approach will ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead culinary operations with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Provide mentorship and training to kitchen staff, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with the executive chef and corporate teams to enhance restaurant performance.
- Oversee inventory management and control labor costs effectively.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene protocols.
What We Seek:
Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented culinary professional with:
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Strong culinary fundamentals, including knife skills, butchery, and sauce preparation.
- Experience in analyzing financial reports and data.
- A commitment to teaching and mentoring culinary interns and staff.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume fine dining kitchen, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
- A culinary degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
- The ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
