Position Overview:
Assist the claims team in managing workers' compensation cases, ensuring efficient processing and support for various operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and establish new claims
- Manage incoming correspondence and document entries in the claims database
- Oversee payment processing and generate standard correspondence
- Provide assistance with incoming calls
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Perform additional responsibilities as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Educational Background & Experience:
- High school diploma is required; a college degree is advantageous
- Experience in a customer service-oriented office setting is preferred
Compensation:
$22.36 per hour
